This £50 is a holding deposit (in line with the “Tenant Fees Act 2019”) and can be retained if you withdraw your application or fail referencing due to information not disclosed to us.
If you fail referencing (undeclared bad credit, missed payments, CCJs or fail the affordability test), this £50 is retained to cover the costs of the referencing process. If you pass, we put this £50 towards your first month’s rent and absorb the cost of referencing ourselves.
Once submitted, you will see a pop-up asking you to enter your credit/debit card details to make payment (You will receive a receipt of payment by email).
Once payment is complete, you will be directed to our full application form, which must be completed in order foir us to begin the referencing process.
