There are a variety of ways we can help:
- Helping navigate the Universal Credit system to ensure you get the help you need if you’re unfamiliar with this
- Guiding self-employed tenants to help from the government
- Signpost you to how to apply for a “discretionary housing payment” from the local authority
- Speaking to your landlord to explain your situation and agree a payment plan
All these avenues are available to explore – the most important thing is that you communicate with us so we can help you as soon as you know there is / might be a problem.
